Quit worrying about what everyone else says. You’re beautiful. It doesn’t matter what people say about you. You don’t have to look like a model. God created you perfect. Stop hurting yourself. Stop cutting. Your body is sacred.  Stop thinking you’re not enough. You’re more than enough. Don’t try to be someone your not. Don’t try to impress everyone. Be yourself. It doesn’t matter if your popularity goes to nothing. Overall, that won’t matter as you grow up. Stop looking for boys approval of you. Stop letting every guy see your body. It’s precious. You are so loved no matter what any boy says.

Girls will still be mean when you get older. I don’t think that ever really stops. Stick up for yourself. Don’t take the words to heart. You are more then what they say. The drama will keep going. Keep your eyes on what matters, not on the petty drama.

You will find friends that love you. Some of them will be your age, some will be way older. You will have so much fun as you get older. Life is crazy, especially with your friends. Make memories and enjoy them.

You have people to support you, let them! Let your family in a little more, they want that. They want the best for you. Billy will always be protective of you because he doesn’t want to see your hurt. Jay will drive you crazy sometimes and joke around with you, but he really does care about you. Karli’s heart breaks for you. She knows you better than anyone. You will always be close to her. She will be your best friend for life. She knows your not happy. Let her help you. Your parents love you so much. Don’t wish you weren’t adopted. It kills them. They never think of you as any less than their own. Your family loves you more than you could ever imagine. They all want the best for you. You truly do have the best family anyone could ask for. Don’t take them for granted.

You will find your purpose. You will find a way to express yourself. You’re gonna find a way to say what you think. You will find a way to help people. You will create something that makes you so proud.

I wish you could see yourself now. You would be so proud of how far you have gotten. Don’t give up on yourself.

You’re loved. You’re worthy. You’re beautiful. Never forget any of that.

  1. Fantastic post. Well shared, positive, organized, and a message to be kind to oneself. People are notorious their worst critic – be your own best friend instead, and give yourself the leeway and forgiveness you would give to someone you love. – David
I believe stories are the best way to connect and be memorable. Recently despite a friend warning me to be careful, i backed into a brick fence, leaving a minor scratch and mark on my bumper. I decided to let it go with myself, if it had been my son, I would have told him it was just a car so I decided to do the same for myself. It is minor, and the car is 8 years old, no one was hurt.

  3. Love this 💕 . This is an amazing example of what it looks like to speak truth over yourself even and especially when you might not “feel it”.

Truth that stems from the ultimate truth giver always reminds me who I am rather than who the world tells me I should be or who I’m not.

This is a sweet verse that I loved for my babies but have come to love it very much for myself to remind me that From the beginning and to the end, I am made by a Father who didn’t make accidents when he made me. Hope we both believe it well and believe it often!

14 I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them. – Psalm 139:14-16
